Magnetic Blocks

I made a bunch of blocks. I like the process. It makes me happy to sit in the garden and paint these for my grandson. I was surfing for toys online and found that there are expensive magnetic blocks. So I procured wood blocks in  1, 2, and 3 inch sizes, drilled holes, glued in strong little magnets, covered with wood filler, gessoed and painted. You can see there are four larger blocks, gessoed but not painted. I have an idea for some Islamic geometric patterns for those.
