Three Small Paintings

I have these two inch square canvases that I use for my little free art gallery. I decided to try a stained glass effect by painting the canvases in different (acrylic) colors, letting them dry, them painting over the colors with black. The effect was OK, but it didn't seem finished. So I splattered. This is the first try with this method. Different colors, different undercoat patterns, different splattering.

The splattering, by the way, is not Jackson Pollock, which is what many people jump to. Action painting is a whole body activity, with lots of slurps and blobs. I aim for dots of various sizes. Sometimes dots on dots on dots. I plan to play with it. The pace will be determined by how quickly people snatch them out of the gallery.
