Space Crow Meets AI Basilisk

Space Crow has becoming a recurring character. She first appeared when I painted a pair of shoes on commission for David Gans -- "it's the same story the crow told me, it's the only one she knows" is a lyric from the Grateful Dead song "Uncle John's Band." The basilisk is more recent, inspired by a contemporary tarot card (there is an entire category of home-made tarot cards on Pinterest). The painting is on a 12"X14" piece of 3/4" plywood, cut to shape with a jigsaw. Next step is to create a frame and illuminate the painting with a microcontroller and LED strip inside the frame. I created the time lapse from still photos at stages of the painting's progress. One of my stretch goals is to create a stand whereby I can create better-registered time-lapses of my paintings.
