Oil Painting

I switched to acrylics because it's easier to deal with water than spirits and it's less toxic, but I still like this one. Sometimes a painting is a rendering of something in the world or my imagination. Sometimes I start painting and watch what emerges. This is (I think obviously) the latter.

This one is the product of the same method. I like the sculptural quality of thick oil paint.
