Future social media: smaller special interest communities

Let's hope this is true! I previously wrote about the need to preserve "green space" communities amidst the ugly giant social media. Discourse.org, an excellent 21st century forum provider, has published a searchable list of communities that use its software. In 1996 -- almost 30 years ago -- my Electric Minds crew created a "virtual community center."
