The "Attention! Earthlings!" part dates back to the 1970s, when I first arrived on this planet on an anthropological investigation. The "Other dimensions nearby" goes back to my adventures with Terence McKenna in the early 1990s. The original image is of me in my Pataphysical garb, modified with an app -- Dreamscope, an app which, sadly, no longer exists.
