Chair For a Joker

My friend Freddy is a prankster -- as in he rode in the bus with Kesey.  As the Art Police, we made big floats for Grateful Dead shows. When the newly elected Bill Clinton raised the joint to his lips, his glasses lit up and smoke came out his ears.

In the aughties, the Mindshaft Society ("give us your mind and we'll give you the shaft") made even larger art for Burning Man.

And now we're making a time machine with the rest of the Pataphysical Studios crew. (Look closely and you will see my grandson navigating the chronosphere.

Freddy is also a good guy. He looks after people on his block. When Mr Rogers said "look for the helpers," he was talking about Freddy. So I painted him a chair.
