Bob Watson has extensive experience as a conferencing host in both for-profit and non-profit community environments. He has moved his 25 years of professional library experience online and now practices "cybrarianship" in addition to traditional library reference skills -- this includes information searching, taxonomy development, and skilled "drill down" problem clarification. He is currently a manager of the Brainstorms virtual community, the managing host/trainer for an online professional community developed for the Chicago Library System, and the host of the "Organisation of Knowledge" conference of the Bright business community (U.K.).
Past experience includes hosting for and being Host Manager of the Electric Minds virtual community, serving as president of a Chamber of Commerce, president of a library automation consortium, and as Corporate/Research Librarian of Masonite Corporation. He is also the Executive Director of a midwest public library.
