According to the list description, "This group is dedicated to those individuals who wish to prove that Cliff Stoll is wrong - that email friendships are just as valuable, if not more so, than friendships with neighbors over the back fence." And they do just that. OTBF is a gathering of affable, low-key folks who want to chit-chat about various things. Topics include everything from kids and their grandparents to sports to strange encounters at Walmart. Everything is up for grabs, but the list has a particular interest in help and support to those wishing to change to healthier diets. There are lots of recipes, pointers to places of interest on the Net, discussion of what works and what doesn't, and stories of small successes.
