Associates
John D. Williams is an associate professor with over twenty years experience teaching communication courses. He has a B.A. in Communication (Mansfield State College- 1976), an M.A. in Interpersonal & Public Communication (Bowling Green State University- 1980), and is studying for a doctorate at the University of Texas - Arlington specializing in the rhetoric of online communication. As an educator, John has a wealth of experience in communication spanning the range from traditional rhetorical theory and public speaking, to the electronic media. He has been the advisor to campus radio stations at University of North Carolina-Wilmington (1980-81) and Western Carolina University (1981-86) and managed KGSW Channel 60 at Southwestern Adventist University (1993-2000). He teaches classes in rhetoric, interpersonal communication, corporate communication, journalism, and broadcasting. He is the host of the Brainstorms' Welcome Conference and a co-host of Life Online. Williams also runs a web conference to support his classes and is actively developing a course in online communication at the university level.
