Andrea J. Baker's three years of online facilitating is combined with leadership of discussions offline, in college classrooms and for community organizations for over twenty years. Online she currently co-hosts the Life Online conference at Brainstorms and has helped facilitate MetaNet conferences.
For the last two years, she has developed and taught courses online in Ohio University's distance education program. She presented workshops in online learning and took a course online about planning and managing distance learning. With a Ph.D. in Sociology, Andrea pursues an active research program, studying relationships of couples who first met online.
